Cox & Cox - eCommerce Analytics/Conversion Optimisation

Cox & Cox were already established in the interiors & homewares industry but they were looking for a boost in their eCommerce performance and marketing due to increasing competition from smaller businesses.

 

Our Solution

Using data from Google Analytics we conducted a checkout funnel analysis and identified the major drop-offs that were causing them to lose sales. We also built a KPI driver tree benchmarked them against their competitors to get an idea of how well their site stacked up in the industry.

 

After a couple of meetings with the key stakeholders, we worked with their developers to set up split tests for a number of areas on the site. These included the checkout process, homepage and email-capture form, and product description pages.

 

We also found a number of areas where we could improve their data collection through Analytics. This included installing Google Tag Manager and updating their event tracking and goal reporting.

 

Results

Our successful split test of their checkout funnel led to a major increase of their sales revenue by 24%. Our form redesign split tests improved email list sign-ups by 9.5%. We have continued working with Cox & Cox. Our monthly review meetings ensure that C&C stay ahead of their competition.
